Subscribed!

I think the weirdest part about using all these apps on Bluesky and atmosphere, etc. is I have a shaky grasp at best as to how it all actually works. Sometimes when I click subscribe to a blog or a person here on Pckk it also shows up in other Reader apps. I’m trying out on atmosphere. And other times it doesn’t. Or maybe they just haven’t written stuff in a while.

And I think that’s part of what’s holding me back from sharing any of this stuff with the normal folks in my life who might actually enjoy using it, is that I don’t always know what’s going to end up where and so I don’t really want to encourage someone to start sharing things on a platform that I can’t explain to them.

I know the reality is that almost nobody’s gonna see it because thankfully, there’s very little algorithm, pushing things beyond containment. And really I just love to encourage more people to write and blog and so using Pckt even if you have no grasp on what’s going on with atmosphere in blue sky is still better than not blogging at all.
